Care Instructions

Light: Bright, indirect light. Higher light (without harsh direct sun) helps maintain strong variegation and steady growth. Water: Water when the top 1–2" of soil is dry. Soak thoroughly, then let excess drain—never leave it sitting in water. Humidity: Prefers 50–70%+ for best leaf size and clean unfurling; adapts to average home humidity with slower growth. Temperature: 65–85°F is ideal. Avoid cold drafts and temps below ~60°F. Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining aroid mix (potting soil + orchid bark + perlite/pumice). A pot with drainage is essential. Fertilizer: Feed lightly during spring/summer with a balanced fertilizer at reduced strength; ease off in winter. Support: Add a moss pole or stake as it grows to encourage larger leaves and fenestrations.
